Kicking the Habits
We have all heard the saying “old habits die hard”. Letting go of things in our every day lives that do not necessarily benefit us seems impossible. But, the only thing standing in our way is fear of the unknown. I am hear to tell you it is time for a change. My thoughts and fears have stopped me from moving forward towards my dreams countless times. Once I conquered each fear I realized how easy it was to adjust. I am always writing down new routines that I want to create to better myself. It has been said (and drilled into my brain) that habits can be broken and created in just a few weeks. I know that sounds like a long time! So, just think about how amazing the outcome will be! It is all a mind game we play with ourselves. My best advice is to be honest and take a leap of faith. Some of my bad habits have included binge eating and procrastination. Staying honest with myself and thinking of a better me gets me through those thoughts and fears of failing. It is a new year and time to kick your bad habits, whatever they may be. You can use the tips in my last blog to help your journey in creating beneficial habits in your every day life! Consistency is key!
